I am currently using Quicken 2007 on my Macintosh. I am concerned about Intuit's lack of support and would like to find an alternative. Does anyone have experience in making this transition?

How difficult is it to transition from Quicken 2007 (Macintosh) to Accounted?

You should be able to easily transition your accounts, balances, and other information into Accounted by exporting from Quicken as IIF files. The only issue, though, is you most likely will not be allowed to export all of your transaction details from Quicken, as they generally try to prevent users from migrating away from their software. You might want to consider simply picking a date or a fiscal year and switching over to the new software, putting all starting balances as their current amounts and starting from there.
Hope this helps!

FRUSTRATING... and maybe impossible. I have been working on this for 20+ hours just trying to move transactions from Quicken2008 to Accounted. I have tried BOTH QIF file exports and CSV. Dozen or more attempts still failing. No problem with the export just not enough information provided in Accounted help to help you understand their import process, where you have many steps in the process. I can not get the amounts from the transactions, just keeps putting in "0". GOOD LUCK! If you have any, share it with me.

Hi Tawnya,
Please check your support ticket for a response to this. We're thinking it's most likely a format issue with your QIF files and we'd like to get a little more information from you via the ticket.
