Rule automation for project status

I would love to see an improvement in automation of projects moving through different project statuses.

Currently you can automate "Debt(s)" "Invoice" and "All Invoices Paid".

Could you implement a rule builder system such as that found in Apple Mail (Rules) so we could make our own automation rules such as:

If <projectStatus> contains Development and invoice = paid then <projectCategory> = Complete

....

Just realised you have done this functionality for the Smart Folders. The same thing in project status rules would be awesome!

I would like to see each project have definable triggers, like work items added, report generated, invoice generated, invoice emailed, project paid, etc. that will cause the project status to change to one of the available project statuses.  Right now you can do this on a global basis but only on 3 triggers.  Doing this on a per-project basis makes it much more flexible (maybe be able to add a "workflow suite" item to project templates).

When I add a work item that has mode "Estimated" change the project status to "Generate Estimate".  When I add a work item that is billable, change to "Generate Invoice".  When I email an invoice, change to "Invoice sent/Receivable".  When it is paid, change to "Invoice Paid", etc., etc.   I have smart groups set up for all my project statuses so I can tell where they are in the pipeline at any given time.  I'd like some of them to auto-advance through that pipeline.
