As I am currently testing out the software for our studio needs, is the demo version limited in currencies you can add? At the moment I am finding no help online in adding a currency. Everytime I try and add the currency for my local one, it won't give me access to change the online tag, nor can I set the currency to be anything other than USD.
Anyone have a solution for this?

Please update to Studiometry 8.1 via the link here:

This was an issue related to the website used to download the list of currencies, and it was fixed in version 8.1.
Hope this helps!
No, that doesn't seem to help, as it was only downloaded two days ago. But I am running on a Mac, and it may be blocking the site you are trying to draw the tags and exchange rates from. Can you send me the address of the website you use so I can make sure it is cleared through my firewall?
Studiometry connects to http://www.x-rates.com/
If you have an application such as Little Snitch, or a firewall blocking outgoing connections for Studiometry then it will not be able to download the list of online currencies.
i have a similar problem on my mac, i am in malawi, it will not load any currency's online tags. my browser loads above link (xrates) fine. im in using trial version, so far i like this application but i need this function to work before i purchase. i also installed on my windows machine and had same problem.
my problem is for accounted
An Accounted update will be available very soon with a fix for the currency issue.
None of that has helped and I am not wanting to purchase the Studiometry program without being able to run the correct currency. Other than the currency issue, I am pretty happy with the program, but there is a competing product that looks almost the same, does the same stuff, it just isn't as refined nor does it have the ability to link to calendars and mail.
Is there a specific thing I need to ask our IT guys to do to get the program connecting through the firewall?

Hi Nicholas,
Please open a support ticket with us here:

We can get a little more information with you and try to see what's going on with your setup. Studiometry 8.1.x should be easily grabbing currencies so, unless it's blocked by something like your firewall, little snitch, or if you hit "no" when it asked if it could make outgoing connections, it should be working fine.
