Especially when using project templates, it is easy to have similarly named To Do or GANTT items in more than one project. When using the View All GANTT Charts window it is necessary to double click an item to drill down and identify which project it belongs to.
Provide an option for View All GANTT Charts window to prepend the Project ID to the Item Name.

I agree — I always have several projects with overlapping schedules on the go at a time and the 'view all' feature is an important one for me. At the moment I colour-code all projects and preface all todo and gantt items with the project name to address this issue. Rob Sherrard's proposal makes sense to me. It would also be helpful to me to have more visual cues for differentiating streams in the 'view all' window — perhaps the project ID and item name could appear in the bar if there's space, or as a tool-tip. I'd also like to be able to colour code the gantt item bars by project too, at least in the 'view all' window.
One more idea — Maybe the View All Gantt Charts window could have vertical project labels like in the project planning window?
This is being worked on for an upcoming version.
Added for 9.0. Will show project name vertically and mouse-over will pop up additional information tooltip with project ID, associated client name and client ID.
Woo Hoo!
Groovy
"… and mouse-over will pop up additional information tooltip with project ID, associated client name and client ID."
I'm not seeing this functionality in Windows 7 90b1. Is it supposed to be in there?
Yes, via the standard tooltip. If it's not working completely correctly (hover over and wait for a second), please open a new post in the beta forum.
