wrong default user when creating new work items

when creating a new work item, SM Touch will often default the work item to a different user then the user thats actually signed in.

We're looking for a way to reproduce this and we've been unsuccessful so far. Does this happen consistently or ocassionally? Do you have any other information about how we can reproduce this? Thanks.
