Generate Preview shows up blank!

Some people encounter a blank preview when generation an Invoice or Report on Mac OS X.
This error can caused by Permission Issues with your Default Invoice Save Location folder. These permission issues can sometimes caused by an Operating System upgrade.
The preview could also show up blank if attempting to save your Invoices onto an external Hard Drive and the permissions aren't set correctly. Make sure the Default Invoice Save Location's permissions are set to read/write.
If you use Apple's File Vault, you may also run into issues with the Invoice Preview system in Studiometry.

In Big Sur the only folder Studiometry has access to is the 'documents' folder on the internal drive, while many other Programs have access to external drives. Is this something your developers can change? I really want my data on an external drive.

    Thanks in advance

Studiometry has the capability to request permission for external drives as well as the desktop folder and networked disks. If it isn't showing up there, you might want to try restarting the app and then attempting to open something within Studiometry from an external drive. It might help to explicitly try to open a file using something like File menu > Import > Delimited Clients and then select any file on a removable drive to trigger the system to ask for your permission to access removable drives.

I was able to import a delimited client file into Studiometry from the external disk (it was a screenshot I imported that actually created 256 clients!?!?!?....but that's not related to this question), but it didn't trigger the system to ask for permission to access removable drives. Still can't use it as my default invoice folder. Tried another external SSD -> same problem while permissions are granted to me / staff / everyone on both disks while 'ignore ownership on this volume' is applied. Also when ignore ownership is not applied and access is granted to system / wheel / eveyone Studiometry shows a blank screen and can't trigger the system to ask for permission to access removable drives.

    What to do next?

Even when granting Studiometry full disk access it doesn't work.
