Studiometry Touch 2.1 adds estimate, report, and purchase order capabilities

Studiometry Touch 2.1 can now view, edit and create reports, estimates and purchase orders when syncing with Studiometry 12.5.2 or newer.

In Studiometry, estimates, purchase orders, and any other type of common project-related content are stored as Reports. Learn more about Reports.

To access the new reports section in Studiometry Touch 2.1, simply go to any project, and go to their Items tab, and then tap the Reports row. There you'll be able to see a list of the Project's reports, and create new reports.

You can view and edit all of the report's details from your iPhone or iPad. This includes the customizable report fields, item sets, and all other options from the desktop app.

Use the Generate Report button to view the report output using your customizable report templates. This can then be emailed directly to your client from your iPhone or iPad.

Does this feature require Studiometry to be open on the desktop in order to process the report request?

Hi David. To create and edit reports you do not need any connection to a desktop. However, to generated the branded PDF content, Studiometry Touch will need to phone home to your desktop machine. This is because of the complexity in the process used to generate the invoice and report templates. We're still looking into the possibility of porting the generating process to the iOS devices, but it currently has your desktop machine do the heavy lifting.
