Studiometry 16.2.1 Released - More New Stuff!

Studiometry 16.2.1 has been released and contains several new productivity-focused features to make accessing parts of the app easier and quicker.

Global Hotkeys

You can now setup global hotkeys for various actions in Studiometry that can be triggered even if Studiometry is running in the background. Create a new To Do, Add a Note to a Timer, or pull up the Running Timers window. We will be adding to the list of possible actions, but if you've got an idea for one please let us know!

Note Editing in Weekly Time Sheet

You can now edit the notes for each day in the weekly time sheet. Studiometry will intelligently consolidate and split up the notes between the work items for each day and save to that item's Extra Info field. This lets you easily type in details for an entire week's work in one convenient window.

Status Item Updates

The Status Item (the icon that sits in the macOS menu bar) has been updated to include more actions and options. You can now add a note to a running timer from the status item, and change the default action for selecting a timer to the note entry window. We've also changed the note entry window to a global floating window to make it easier to use while in other apps.

Dock menu Updates

Studiometry's Status Item menu can now also be shown in the macOS dock. Right-click on Studiometry in your dock (while it's running) and the same menu you've configured for the status item will appear there.
