Accounted 5.0 Released: New Features & Apple Silicon Ready!

Accounted 5 Released

A huge update to Accounted has been released. We've been working for a while to modernize the app to work with current and future hardware and operating systems, and we've also added many new features in the process.

Apple Silicon Native

Accounted is now built natively for Apple Silicon Macs (in addition to Intel Macs and Windows). You may have seen warnings about older Intel apps not working on upcoming macOS versions, this update resolves that completely. We’ve done a deep overhaul under the hood to ensure Accounted runs faster, smoother, and is fully supported on modern hardware going forward.

Ready for Today and Tomorrow

Accounted 5 is fully compatible with the latest macOS and Windows releases. Several updates have been made for macOS Tahoe compatibility, and the app is already prepared for the next macOS coming in 2026. From system-level changes to visual updates like proper icon rendering (no more gray “icon jail”), everything has been updated to feel right at home on modern macOS.

Much More...

Available Now

Accounted 5 is available for download and purchase now. Registered users of previous versions of Accounted can upgrade to 5.x for $59.95 USD, and new licenses are $99.95 USD.

Can we expect that Studiometry will be updated to Apple Silicon? Apple has announced that intel based apps will no longer be supported with the next Mac OS Update
