We’re very excited to release Studiometry 17 today, a big update to our award-winning business management app. Studiometry now runs natively on Apple Silicon, creates European e-invoices out of the box, and gets faster where it counts. Here are just a few of the highlights:
Built for Apple Silicon, ready for what’s next
Apple has said that macOS 28 will stop running apps that aren’t built for Apple Silicon, and macOS is already warning about them. Studiometry 17 is fully native on Apple Silicon, so it will keep running long after that change. Intel Macs are still fully supported.
E-invoicing for Europe, built in
Create e-invoices in the EU XML format right from Studiometry. Just right-click any invoice to generate it as EU XML. Studiometry now keeps track of everything an e-invoice needs, including VAT category codes and exemption reasons, a Tax/VAT ID for each client, ISO country codes, and standard unit codes for every item. Timesheets with the whole story
The Work Week timesheet now lets you edit notes and extra information for every individual item on each day, instead of combining all of a day’s notes into one work item. A new, more powerful note editing window makes writing them easier, too.
But that’s not all…
- A much faster calendar for businesses with lots of to-dos and events
- Edit tags on many items at once, right from the Search and Tags sections
- Group edit clients to switch them between Client and Vendor
- New Invoice/Report template options and variables, including better page filling for long invoices
- Emails sent from Studiometry now use TLS 1.2 or newer
- Plus many more improvements and fixes
