2. The Name of some GANTT items is prefixed with a bullet character, while other items have no bullet. What determines whether an item is bulleted?
Items are manually ordered, meaning you can drag them to reorder them vertically in the chart.
The bullets are shown for items with custom colors to emphasize the color of the item since sometimes the text itself is not enough.
Drag and drop works as indicated for items within the same project. I have clients with more than one project active, and was looking to ordering the display such that projects for the same client could be placed contiguous in the list. Dragging items over intervening clients shows the "location bar" moving up or down the list, but when dropped, the item remains where it was before the drag.
There is a red line that indicates separation between projects. You cannot reorder items to be mixed between projects because, when you view it in the project-only Gantt chart it will then lose the ordering there or have a different order. If you attempt to drag an item outside of its project's bounds the drag will be rejected and it will either stay in the same place or move to the closes valid spot for the project.
