I've set up the summary report, but for some reason, it's only showing me the NEW work items that I created today. Thanks for the question and the video explanation. In current versions of Studiometry, work items are shown based on their actual date entered near the top of the work editing window. The ran times are still stored and calculated, but in the summaries and time sheet window, the item is only filed under one date.
We are working on the ability to split a single work item to show the work done across multiple dates in both the View Timesheet as well as the custom summaries section. We expect this to be in Studiometry 9.1 or possibly a slightly later release.
For now, if you cannot wait to show more details related to this, we recommend simply starting and stopping your timers at the end of the work day as opposed to leaving them paused. This isn't an optimal solution, but it will hopefully help until we release the new splitting features in the upcoming version of Stuidometry.

Studiometry 10 will have several areas of focus on the ability to "split" individual items into their individual ran-times. We will be releasing information about the 10.x beta, as well as more 10.x information in general very soon.

Hi! I've noticed that when I run my daily summary, it's still only picking up NEW work items that are created on that very day. It does not pick up on work items that were created on earlier days, but where time was added via a running timer. I was hoping to see this fixed in 10, but it does not seem to be.

What it's showing for the daily summary results is missing 3+ hours of work I did today. The Work item was opened last week, so it's not showing up. Is there a way to show a true value of billables for a given day? Would really like to see this feature added. Thanks!

Hi, I'm in Studiometry 11.1.2 This feature is desperately needed.
I need to be able to see at a glance where the unbilled holes are in my day. I know I work solidly across the full day but I may be across six different jobs and may have only logged time on 2 of them, due to distractions and demands. How can I check?
So far I can't see how to check if 2hrs or 8hrs has been logged. I suspect I lose days through this. That equals hundreds/thousands of dollars. But i can't tell.
Please help.

Three years ago, you said you were working on a solution for this, but have yet to see one. And the work-arounds are time consuming and labor intensive.
I also agree with Robert Luxford - I would like to be able to see the holes in my days as well (in addition to this original request).
What's the ETA on the 3-year old feature request? Seems like this feature is taking an awfully long time. And any chance we add Robert's request to the mix?

And maybe can we have a voting system on which features get priority? Also some feedback/tracking of the progress of the said features being implemented by Oranged. Now that I have discovered there is no way for me to tell if I am losing thousands of dollars a week I am seriously considering dumping the product. Traffic Office Manager could do it 15 years ago.
I'm not sure Oranged is entirely aware of which requests are nice to have above those that are costing us money.

As of right now in Studiometry 10-11 you can do the following:
This window will split the items into the day for the actual ran time instead of showing it as the date associated with the entire item. Studiometry 12 will include the option to split timers in the same way in the custom summaries features in the program, and there will be a beta out for 12 soon where you'll be able to test that functionality before it's released.
Regarding a visual view of the specific work day/week showing any "holes" in work time, we have added that to the requests and should be able to get it into Studiometry 12 as well.
