Daily Billing Summary is Incomplete - how can I fix it?

Hi!  I need to be able to run a daily summary of the hours I've worked on a given day across all projects and clients.  I've set up the summary report, but for some reason, it's only showing me the NEW work items that I created today.  It's leaving out the time added to existing work items that were started earlier in the month.  How can I get a complete report?  Here's a video of the problem:  http://screencast.com/t/A3EBBSnLN
