I'd like to have a report that will collect all my logs related to a project, client, contact, or vendor in one report. Ideally, it would include the Project Notes and Text Logs, Project Specs, and any logs created.
Also, is there a variable for Contact Logs?
I'm not sure if you want this on a 'per project' basis or for all projects at once. But the first is possible by making a report using the variables:
<!--ProjectLogs--> and <!--ProjectNotes--> they will help you to accomplish this.
Thanks. I was aware of those variables and have included them in reports. I would like to have additional variables for those logs created in the Project or Client windows; those logs that can be attached to multiple projects, clients, or contacts. They are a vital part of my tracking the progress of a job and being able to assemble all the relevant comments, changes, explanations, and contact information would be a great help.
I still can't believe there's no way to print any entries from the Log pane. The only workaround I've found is to open each log entry, copy it, and paste it into a text editor to print.
Please consider this a feature request (see the original post, above) along with the ability to apply simple formatting to the text.
