I would like to know how to complete/finish a job on Studiometry that comes under a monthly retainer.
I would also like to know is it possible to create a monthly retainer and link all the jobs that come under the retainer?

Rob Sherrard - Imageer To fully answer your question you'll need to tell a little more about the process you use to create the retainer, collect payments, and account for work performed for that client.
In general, if a retainer has been established for a client, any invoice created for that client will apply funds from the retainer against that invoice. Funds can be added into the retainer with the payment tab for that client.
For your second question, any jobs for that client would draw against the retainer. If there are jobs which you do not want to use retainer against an invoice, you can elect not to pay from the retainer when the invoice is created.
Do you invoice the client to request payment into his retainer? In such a case, you could have two classes of invoice. One class would be invoices sent to the client to request payment into his retainer. The other class would be invoices which would keep track of work actually performed. This class would be paid out of retainer when the work was performed, and might not actually go to the client.
If this is more complicated than you wish to do, you can always brute force modify the retainer balances by using the + and - operators at the bottom of the retainer window. This technique is much less desireable because it doesn't otherwise interract with debt/credits, invoices and payments.
