We have a multiple user license of Studiometry on workstations (which runs on OS X Yosemite) and the server (OS Maverick Server).
Each time a user quits Studiometry on his machine the server also quits his program. This problem started occurring just a few weeks ago.
Same problem here, what is the solution for this serious problem?
We have had a couple of companies report this issue and we're trying to figure out exactly what would be causing it. Do you have iCal/Address Book syncing enabled on your server machine? Does the server give a crash/error dialog? Are you using the Studiometry Server Monitor?
We have not enabled iCal/AddressBook syncing. Sometimes it gave/gives a crash dialogue. Last time not. (I was the last to quit studiometry on my computer - after that the server quit his version, too.
BTW: What do you mean with Studiometry Server Monitor? Didn't find anything on your knowledge base.
We have a separate app that can attempt to monitor and restart the Studiometry server periodically, and also keep a log of uptime. Some users were having issues with it so we check if users are using it whenever they have stability issues.
Michaela, your ticket showed that the issue was resolved. Has it started happening again? If so, can you please open a new ticket so we can get a little more information about you regarding your setup. Thank you.
Only once, after I closed the ticket. But since then it runs normal. I do not know why, but as long as it works fine, I am happy.
