Progress billing

Hi there is there a way to use my list of expenses (used for one report) in 3 invoices? I always need to send my invoices 50%-25%-25% during my film productions. 50% in advance and the other two during production. I've tried making 3 invoice templates for this and it seems to work except for the fact that the expenses are 'used' for the first invoice and can not be selected again for the other 2 invoices.

Is there an other (easier) way to achieve this?
