Studiometry 12 - trail expired without even trailing?

Hi there, I'm a happy user of Studiometry 11 - but can't seem to even try 12, every time i start it says trial expired.

I updated (clean install) my machine over the weekend, and I'd like to make sure Studiometry 12 does at it should before upgrading. However - every time i start it, it says trial expired - I don't believe its even been out for 30 days!

I copied the files over from the old install (application support) to the same place on the new install, and the above is what happens.

How do I go about trailing 12, with my data?
