Since upgrading to 12.2 we've had long initial sync's (yes, safe sync is turned on).
Often- you have to force quit the client- and then restart for a faster connect.
Also, when leaving a client machine to idle for a few hours, it often disconnects while the machine is in sleep.
Systems are all running mac os 10.11.2
We have Mac OSX server running our studiometry server.
Solutions?
Studiometry will disconnect when the machine goes to sleep because the network must be active to maintain the connection. It will tell you and then attempt to reconnect after coming back from sleep.
Regarding the longer syncs, it might be related to a few things. Do you have mail integration enabled? Are you using Address Book/Contacts syncing? How many machines are you connecting to your network? Also, how large is your database file in MB?
No Mail integration, no sync- we do import our contacts.
Not sure where to find db size- app is weighing in at 109.2 MB
Typically- 3-4 machines connecting.
