Hi, would it be possible to have the "add contact from same company" function where the standard information is already filled out. In many cases when I have multiple contacts from one company 8 out of 10 have the same addresses and main phone numbers. Thanks Henk

Oranged Support HI Henk,
We're looking at a possibility of creating linked addresses or contact based addresses/phone numbers. This way you could have one main address for contacts. We may in the meantime add the ability to simply duplicate certain parts of a contact.

Henk It would be great to start with a copy. The ability to copy the "contact" and get a copy of the work address, work phone & fax, website and the @companyxyz.com part of the email address in the new contact would already save a lot of time.
The ability to add addresses to a client and link these to the contacts would be even better. It would also solve the issue we have when sending products or invoices to a "department". Many companies have 2 addresses, one where they recieve invoices (usually a PO box) and one where they receive goods. In these cases we now make two additional contacts called "Credit administration" and "Warehouse". Adding addresses and phone numbers to clients solves this and would also add another important feature; we have a lot of companies in the system where we do not have contacts like the Airlines for booking our flights, TNT for our shipments, etc.
Good luck and thanks for "addressing" this :)

Oranged Support You can duplicate contacts in 9.2.2 and newer. Separate from that, we are looking into the ability to have shared addresses among contacts.

Henk Duplicating contacts is a great feature and we are using this a lot, thanks for implementing this.

Allcomputersystems I would find it useful to have standard "internal" client contacts, such as a client's employees or project managers, and beneath that or in a separate section, also "associated" contacts like vendors contact info. For instance, if I have 10 clients that use the same DSL provider, I can setup the DSL provider's support number as a vendor contact, then "associate" or link them to the clients for whom that vendor provides service. That way the client contacts list can be a central location for all contacts that are related to that client, and also the vendor contacts list would show the clients they have been "associated" with.
