1. When Email is invoked from within the Invoice or Report Viewers, Studiometry sends a PDF copy of the document to an addressee of your choice, and also creates a date and time stamped Log entry with links to the document and the contact associated with the document. Often it is desireable to include some additional notations to the log entry about the situation associated with the sending of that document. Under the current Studiometry configuration, it is necessary to leave the Client focus and go to Logs to locate the Log Entry just generated, and edit the log as appropriate to the situation.
Request: Provide a means to optionally pop up the Log Editor as soon as the Email is sent so that notations can be made contemporaneously, and not require the extra steps which might discourage making the log entries at all.
2. When the email client software (Outlook in my case) is invoked by clicking on an email address in Clients or Contacts, no log entry is currently made automatically. Frequently, such "ad hoc" emails are more deserving of a log entry than ones related to an SM document whose purpose is more readily inferred.
Request: Provide the means to optionally pop up the Log Editor as soon as the Email is sent so that these notations can be made contemporaneously, without extra navigation steps. In these cases creating a link to the addressee would be good and capturing the subject generated for the email as the subject of the log entry would be great.
