I defined one of our "project status" categories to be "prospect", and then defined a smart-group that shows just projects with this status. But the list shows only the project name, and so to work out which client the project is for you have to select each in turn and look at the project summary page. See first of two attached screen grabs.
For this case, a better solution would be to list each project indented under the client name. I can do this sort-of by choosing "not vendor" in the client part of the smart group definition - but if I do this I get all the currently live 'non vendor' clients listed, regardless of whether they have any prospect projects defined. See second of attached screen grabs. In this second form, the 'prospect' projects are getting lost in the long list of live clients showing, diminishing the value of the list.
I realise there are times when having a complete list of clients for this type of smart group is useful.
What would be helpful here however would be to add the option to only show the client in the list if the rest of the smart-group filter generated a result for that client. So in this case the resulting filtered column view would show only the clients with prospect status projects, and for each have the prospect status projects shown below their name in the form currently used in the version with all clients defined.
Grateful if you could consider adding this type flag to the smart group system.
