Periodically the app asks you to backup, but I would also like the option to simply select Backup from the File menu.

  You can setup automated backups in the Preferences Window > General Section. Once these are setup, you can force it to backup by selecting File Menu > Save.

  Separately, you can use File Menu > Data Management > Show Data Folder in Finder to find the data folder and copy/back it up to wherever you'd like.

  Thanks, that worked fine. As a suggestion, you might want to consider changing the menu item name to something like Save Backup or Backup File or something like that, because I already had set this up and had no clue that was the menu command to use.

  The menu option actually saves the preferences/etc to file, but that also triggers a backup based on your backup settings. It does a little bit of both :)
