I track my mileage as i travel to job sites for client meetings, contractor meetings, potential job interviews, etc...
Right now, i simple record each trip as an expense. Which works ok, but is kind of tedious and can make for quite a few expense items and it is not particularly easy to get totals within a project let alone across projects (which is needed for year end tax reasons).
It would be really nice to to have a separate mileage log in which i could record all my mileage and then link each trip to a particular project. This way i could easily see my mileage expenses for the year as well as for each individual project. It would also be nice if would show up in the project "Work & Expenses" tab as a single tallied expense item.
