Many countries have different receipt requirements that have very specific requirements. Having a customizable receipt template that one can match to the Default Report and Default Invoice, would make the receipt much more professional and allow the software to be used in more countries by the large expat communities overseas, along with the home market.

There is a generic Default Receipt format already in Studiometry. Go to the Payments tab for a client and click on the red push pin icon at the right edge of any payment line.
If what's built in doesn't cover all your content requirements, click on the Add Note… button and append whatever you need. If you don't like the cute corkboard graphic receipt, click on the Graphic Receipt list box spinner and choose Text Receipt.
Either format can be printed or emailed by choosing the appropriate button at the bottom of the Receipt window.
Still, being able to customize the receipts, especially with the ability to brand them as we can with invoices, would be a useful feature. I wouldn't want to send a client either the graphic or the text receipts as they appear now.
Agreed! That's why I added a payment section to my Invoice template with room for up to 4 (partial) payments and a conditional title which changes from INVOICE to RECEIPT when the Amount Due goes to zero.
Yes, I think I saw a tip you had written some time ago and ended up doing something similar that adds a "PAID" stamp to the invoice. Good idea to change the title, too.
