I would be tremendously useful to be able to choose different formats for numbers and dates on the users or - even better - clients level. In Switzerland e. g. we use periods and apostrophees instead of commas in number formatting: 1'230.00 instead of 1.230,00 (german).
The same goes for date formatting for US clients. It would be helpful to set a US standard date or number format in the clients preferences.
The date variables should have a four digit year variable, too.
