Holding the ALT or Option key during program launch allows the user to steer Studiometry among different databases. When exercised, the program offers three choices of where to go (shown in the attached screenshot).
- Last Saved Location
- Default Data Location
- Choose Folder…
The meaning of Choice 3 is obvious. Choice 1 is meaningful if you can remember where you were the last time Studiometry was launched.
Choice 2 is somewhat indeterminate. Is the Default Data Location the one which Studiometry automatically chose when the program was first installed? Or some intermediate renaming of the file? (Over the course of time I've renamed databases more than once.)
My proposal is to eliminate the uncertainty by altering the display in the data folder selection dialog to actually show the paths which the program will follow if either Choice 1 or Choice 2 is selected.
