I'm about to trial Accounted, I wondered if you can log VAT on purchased and sales. I currently use GNUCash for the business but I'd like something a little easier to navigate around. I use Money for personal and Accounted seems quite similar.

You can track any type of Taxes with accounted using income/expense accounts. You simply create a split transaction where the taxes you calculate will go into/come from the designated tax account. This would work fine for VAT as well as any other type of tax.
