I am looking at a way to set up quotes and in turn, a way to generate quote numbers.
We are working through a list of objectives to get Studiometry running for our business and have completed invoicing and purchase orders.
Any guidance or help on this would be very much appreciated as we would like to get our process in place by COP Friday.

If you have one of those numbers per project, you can set it in a few places that you'd like. One possible spot is Project Info window (select any project and press command-i) under the Purchase Order number. You would then use the ProjectPurchaseOrderNumber variable on your template.
Another option is to add it as a spec on the project and then use that spec in the invoice template. You can use the same spec name on every project (or even set up a spec suite for that) and then it will automatically pull that spec into the invoice when generating it.
We have assigned the quotes as the report ID however there doesn't seem to be a way to add the client's address to the report? I copied over the variables from the Invoice template such as the client address but it doesn't do anything when generated?
The reports should have the same client address variables as the invoices. What ones are you trying to use?
What might have happened is, if you're using inline variables in a text area, your system could have automatically replaced the variable format dashes. Sometimes the <!--variable--> format will have the two dashes replaced with one long dash on Mac. Make sure it's two dashes before and after the variable name.
