Hello, we are thinking about changing from a server based Studiometry 11.2 to Studiometry Cloud. My question is how do we tranfer our database from the earlier version of Studiometry across to the Cloud version?

Oranged Support Hi David,
It's a pretty simple process to upgrade, and you don't need to pay any additional upgrade fees or upgrade your 11.x license to 13.x. An active Cloud account will act as your Studiometry license and your Studiometry Touch licenses as well.
To upgrade, just select one computer as the main machine to upload your database from. We recommend just using your current server machine.
1. Download and install Studiometry 13.x
2. When you launch it, you will get a free 30 day trial of Studiometry 13.x
3. Select Cloud Menu > Enable Studiometry Cloud, and sign up for a new account
4. You'll then have a free 30 day trial of Studiometry Cloud
5. Select Cloud Menu > Manage Cloud account, then log in with your admin email and password (you can also just go directly to https://cloud.oranged.net to log in)
6. Click Billing Info, and then enter your billing information into the accountOnce all of that is done, your account will be completely set up and you'll be able to keep using Studiometry Cloud.
You can connect other machines by upgrading to 13.x and connecting them to your Cloud account using Cloud Menu > Enable Studiometry Cloud and selecting Connect to Existing Cloud.
If you have an issue uploading your data, or if you have any issue with a "trial expiration" message in 13.x, please let us know and we'll resolve those issues for you.
