I've created a visual invoice using data rows. I pull from Item Date, Item Name etc. How do you control the space between entries? For instance, I have ItemName set to flexible so it basically wraps text. When it does, there is a large vertical space created before the next item entry on the following line. How do you tighten this up? thanks!

Oranged Support The spacing is basically determined by two things:
1. The set "minimum row height". This will be used if you don't have a flexible height item, or if no item goes over the minimum height
2. The distance from the bottom of the row for the flexible height item. If you have an item of flexible height and the bottom of the item is roughly 10 pixels from the bottom of the row, Studiometry will then keep the row 10 pixels taller than whatever the height of the item ends up being when generated.
You will want to move/resize your flexible height items based on these two criteria. If you can't get it quite right, please attach your template file to this or open a support ticket with your template file and we can help out.

Benstallard Thanks very much for your help. I'm still not totally getting it. Attaching the template file...
In my data row across the top I have ItemDate, Item Name, ItemHours, ItemHourRate, ItemAmount. The ItemName is the only flexible setting so it can pull in Item Descriptions on timesheets and wrap to next line. If I have 3 item entries/lines, there's a huge gap between each entry.

Oranged Support The ItemName variable in your template extends beyond the bottom of the data row, which can cause larger gaps between the items. To fix this:
- Open your invoice template for editing in Studiometry
- Select your Data Row area and click "Edit Data Row"
- Select the ItemName variable and change the height from 15 to 13. This will prevent it from going over the size of your visible row design.
- Press "Done" to exit out of the data row editing view.
- Save and close the template
This will then show your items without the large gap. You can tweak the Min Row Height to add a larger gap after this if you'd like, as the main issue was simply that your flexible-height item wasn't completely within the bounds of the data row. -
Benstallard Holy moly, you're a genius! Thanks! Shoulda contacted you before I grinded away about 3 hours... Anyhoo, it's fixed now. Thank you!!

Oranged Support Sorry about the trouble! Just remember to keep the "flexible height" items within the boundaries and you should be good to go. Let us know if you have any other questions.
