Thinking of switching from Daylite 3. Anyone with similar experience?

Hi Guys!

I'm using Daylite 3 and Billings at the moment from my one man operations and am thinking of switching to something more user friendly, easier to use and with better level of support.

My main problem at the moment is absence of credit notes in Billings and a nightmare UI of Daylite 3. I was hoping that the new version would bring some changes with it, but it seemed to have brought only more problems (see their forum).

Do we have people here who have migrated from Daylite/Billings here? Did it worth it? Is it possible to export/import data?

I was trying to search the forum, but except few finds about Billings, there is nothing. I was surprised :-)

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Hi Alex,

We get a lot of new users switching over from Daylite/Billings, so hopefully someone with experience can comment. You can export some data from both of those programs (generally plain text export/import is the "lowest common denominator" and will also work, though it is sometimes a bit more setup), and you can import information you've synced to Contacts/Address Book, or Calendar/iCal.

Once setup, you'll basically get the functionality of both programs in Studiometry. If you have any questions about specifics, or about Studiometry in general, please let us know!
