Edit Contact window in Preferences, Employee

After selecting Edit Contact Info… in the Edit Employee window for a given employee, the resultant Edit window for that contact is pretty much unnavigable. Using Tab you can move between First Name:, Last Name:, Title: and Contact Notes fields and make entries into them. Attempting to access any of the Phone Numbers, Email Addresses, Custom Fields, or  Cancel  or OK results in a warning beep from the system and no action is taken. The only way to exit this window is the Red X button. If a change is made in one of the accessible fields, the Red X does evoke a notice that changes have been made and asking if the changes should be saved.

There does not appear to be any duplicate edit windows hiding behind the open windows while any of this is going on.

  Just to clarify, are you enabling or disabling the ability to Edit Contact info (keeping it checked or unchecked in the employee permissions section)?

  I was looking at my own Employee data. I have permission to do everything set in the Permissions tab, but I can't change anything there, or even get functionality of the scroll bar in the Permissions tab. I assume that as the database administrator I am prevented from disallowing myself to any function.

  I have only one additional employee for test purposes - my dog, and she rarely needs access to Studiometry data. I can change her permissions and save them.

  For me as the administrator/super employee, upon selecting either employee, the Edit Contact Info…  button produces the same non-functional window originally reported. In my Employee Settings tab, I see that Live Employee is checked and grayed out. I assume that's standard protection to prevent the administrator from making himself non live.

  As a one man shop, this obviously has no criticality for my operations and is raised only as observation of what I guess to be anomalous behavior. (The only reason I even ventured into Employees,  Preferences was to see if I could find where to change my logon password hint.)
