Sneak peek of Studiometry 12 UI & UX?

Hi

I'm about to make a decision if we should abandon Daylite 5 for Studiometry. But first I would like to see some images (or even raw sketches would do) of the new upcoming UI for SM12, since and because the current UI is very old and gives very poor UX experience (compared to todays modern Mac app standards).

Basically I need to know if SM12 going to have the same bad UI as SM11? Or is there going to be some MAJOR improvements, not just graphical but also workflow wice, if not - we're not going to switch to SM11/12.

  Peter,

  Studiometry 12 will not have a drastically different UI/UX from Studiometry 11. We're sorry if you don't like the program of the workflow. We're very happy with the new interface in Studiometry 11, as are the majority of our users. Studiometry 12 is focusing on syncing updates, cloud syncing options, and various other user requested features.

  Here's a freebie UX tip, that you might wanna consider for SM13 or later? 

  Being able to follow and save the actual workflow in a linear fashion (tasks, notes etc). Ex;

  I have a task to do and when it's done (√ check), I often get new related tasks or follow up's to do based on that. Then I would like to have a "follow up" task that is attached to the original task and/or the client. This does not seem possible in a simple way in SM11, not that I've found during my testing anyway. The same goes for creating call notes with attached tasks or other similar actions.

  Check out Daylite 5 for some inspiration on this, they have solved it good (but not as great as it could be done).

  BTW: I'm NOT saying Daylite 5 has a great UI, but they do have very good and customizable workflow for most things - which also gives a good user experience (UX).

  Daylite is more CRM focused, while Studiometry is start-to-finish business management, that includes some CRM features and includes time and expense tracking and invoicing as well. You can manage your projects in stages in Studiometry and also have set lists of to dos (to do suites) for projects or clients. You can also link these up to stages to automatically advance the stages in Studiometry. 

  Using the project overview you can very easily see what's next for a project or client by simply viewing the incomplete to dos section. 

  We do plan on adding sub-tasks to Studiometry, as we have recently added sub-projects as well.

  I do understand the different focus between your apps. I guess I was hoping for more CRM features in SM, since it's more of what I need.

  I've not tested "to do suites" yet, I'll have to give it a spinn before I give up on SM.

  Maybe you could answer another basic question of mine here to? Where is the basic work-flow tutorial (2015)?
