After quite a while (of just using ST on my Mac's) I decided to launch my copy of ST on my home Laptop with windows 8.1 But ST reports error cant start because QTCF.dll is missing. I redownloaded ST 10.1 for WIN and reinstalled, but error still occurs? Is there a solution? Suggestion? I hop I don;t need to update yet as I was waiting until version 12 before going through the upgrade process. Thanks

Rob Sherrard - Imageer It appears that QTCF.dll is a Quicktime file. This article may give you a clue on how to resolve your issue.

First, any upgrade to 11.x right now will get a free upgrade to 12.x when it's released, since you're within the free upgrade grace period.
Not exactly sure what's causing that issue, but it might be related to the extra libs related to that version of Studiometry. When you're installing, are you making sure to copy all items including the exe and other folder into the same directory?
I would ask if 11.x works fine for you to see if it's related to that, but moving up/down between versions does take a little bit of work.
