Customizable toolbar missing in S11?

I recently upgraded to 11 from (I think) 8, and one of the things I noticed that is missing is the customizable toolbar.  Was nice to be able to just click on a 'New Project', or 'New Payment' icon instead of having to scroll through the menu to access those.

Is it me (probably is!), or is there a way to get this to work again?

  Hi Jim,

  Sorry but the customizable toolbar was removed to streamline the interface. We added a new plus button to the bottom left of the window to easily create any type of item. Separately, you can use keyboard shortcuts to create certain items, such as Command-Shift-N to create a new Project.
