I got off to a great start and was creating projects and emailing out invoices in a short time. Now when I receive a check I go back to mark it paid and I can't find any trace of the project. The only place I can find proof that it ever existed is in my email outbox. What am I doing wrong? Actually, a few projects are still in Studiometry, but I don't know what I did differently that they stayed and others are missing.

Oranged Support Hello,
Did you mark the projects as non-live? You can go to the Search section of Studiometry to see if they are in there, since non-live projects don't appear in the main list.
Also, are you using Studiometry Cloud, or a networked version of Studiometry, or simply a single-user non-cloud setup?

mpphoto I'm a single-user non-cloud.
You may have to explain about "Live" and "Non-Live". Accounting was not my calling and I do not even know where to make those markings and what they mean. If you have a video that explains that it may help.

Oranged Support If you mark a project as non-live it will no longer appear in your lists. You can find it by selecting the "Search" group in the far left, then selecting Projects. You can see the column for live in that list.
You can read more about it here:

mpphoto I still getting checks and the project is nowhere to be found so I can't mark anything as being paid. I checked in Live and No Live so there must be something that I'm not doing after I generate an invoice and email it. I'm coming from iBiz and after generating an invoice and emailing, pressing the Done button would save it. Is there something like that in Studiometry that I'm not doing?

mpphoto Problem solved: somehow it went back to using the data folder on my internal drive. I discovered this accidentally and once I got back to the data folder on the external I found all the missing projects.
